ドライブシャフトは動力伝達の要です。
私たちがドライブシャフトを手掛ける理由は、耐久性を向上させながらスムーズな乗り味を得られるからです。
前輪駆動車のドライブシャフトは、駆動力を車輪に伝えながら転舵する為大きな角度を持たせながらトルク伝達する必要があります。
その為、ジョイント部には非常に大きな負荷がかかり、レースではしばしばトラブルに見舞われました。
そのレースでのトラブル対策の一つが、ジョイント部の鏡面加工です。

The driveshaft is the vital link that delivers power to the road.

We develop our own high-performance driveshafts because they offer the ideal combination of exceptional durability and a smooth, precise driving feel.

In front-wheel-drive vehicles, the driveshaft must transmit engine torque to the wheels while operating through large articulation angles as the steering turns. This places extreme stress on the constant velocity (CV) joints, making them one of the most demanding components in any drivetrain.

Under the severe conditions of motorsport, these loads have often led to joint failures.

One of the key technologies we developed to overcome this challenge is precision mirror polishing of the CV joint components. By reducing friction and optimizing surface finish, this process enhances durability and reliability under the extreme loads encountered in racing.

加工前の金属の表面は、小さな傷に覆われており、それらの小さな傷は駆動トルクを受け続けると、応力集中を起こしクラックが入り破損、焼き付きを起こします。
各部のバリを取り除き、磨き上げることでクラックの起点を無くし破損を防ぐ、この鏡面加工は耐久性を向上させる作業です。

Untreated metal surfaces are covered with countless microscopic machining marks. Under repeated high-torque loads, these surface imperfections become points of stress concentration, where cracks can initiate and propagate, eventually leading to component failure or galling.

By carefully removing burrs and precision-polishing each critical surface to a mirror finish, these potential crack initiation points are eliminated. The result is a significant improvement in durability and reliability under the extreme loads encountered in motorsport.

Mirror polishing is far more than a cosmetic process—it is a critical durability enhancement developed to maximize the performance and service life of the driveshaft.

さらに、ジョイントに使用するグリスも耐熱性、極圧性の高いグリスを使用することでサーキット走行などの高負荷走行にも耐えられます。
耐久性を向上させ、抵抗が少なくスムーズに動くドライブシャフトは、キモチ良い車づくりの鍵となります。

To further enhance reliability, our CV joints are packed with a high-performance grease specifically selected for its outstanding heat resistance and extreme-pressure properties. This enables the driveshaft to withstand the sustained high loads and elevated temperatures generated during demanding circuit driving and other motorsport applications.

By combining enhanced durability with reduced friction and exceptionally smooth operation, our driveshafts deliver consistent power transfer and precise drivetrain response. The result is not only greater reliability under extreme conditions, but also the refined, connected driving feel that defines a truly rewarding performance car.
