平素よりSPOON SPORTSの製品をご愛用いただき、誠にありがとうございます。
このたび、弊社が2025年5月から2026年7月までに出荷した「L.S.D. KIT 41000-FL5-000（FL5/FK8）」の一部について、不具合があることが判明いたしました。
お客様から、当該製品の装着時に左側ドライブシャフトが抜けたとのご連絡を受けて調査を行ったところ、LSD内部のサイドギヤの寸法が規定値と異なる製品があることを確認いたしました。当該製品では、左側ドライブシャフトが確実に保持されず、走行中に抜けるおそれがあります。その場合、車両が駆動力を失うとともに、トランスミッションオイルが漏れる可能性があります。
お客様の安全を最優先とし、対象製品を自主回収のうえ、対策品へ無償交換いたします。
対象製品に該当する、または該当する可能性がある製品を装着した車両は、対象確認および必要な対応が完了するまで運転しないでください。未装着の対象製品は、車両へ装着しないでください。ご自身で製品の点検、分解または取り外しを行わず、まずは製品の購入店または取付店へご連絡ください。対象製品を装着した車両を自走して購入店や取付店へ持ち込まないでください。車両の移動が必要な場合は、購入店、取付店または弊社に連絡し、積載車等による搬送方法をご確認ください。
弊社の出荷記録により確認できる国内外の販売先全てに対し、個別に連絡を進めております。
一方で、対象製品を装着した車両が中古車として販売されている場合や、輸出業者、海外販売店等を経由して販売されている場合があり、現在の車両所有者または製品所有者まで販売店からの連絡が届かない可能性があることが判明いたしました。そのため、安全確保を目的として本告知を掲載しています。

2026年8月24日現在、弊社が把握している範囲では、本不具合に起因する交通事故または人的被害の報告は受けておりません。ただし、対象製品の使用状況および不具合の発生状況については、現在、各販売先を通じて確認を進めております。
対象製品については、対策品へ無償交換いたします。対策品は現在製作中で、2026年9月中旬に入荷する予定です。入荷後、準備が整い次第、購入店または弊社から順次ご案内いたします。対象製品と確認された場合、以下の費用は弊社が負担いたします。
対策品への交換が完了するまで、対象製品を装着した車両は運転しないでください。対策品の入荷前に車両を使用する必要がある場合は、安全が確認された純正デファレンシャル等への一時的な復旧について、購入店、取付店または弊社へご相談ください。純正部品等への一時復旧、積載車による搬送、ミッションオイル、シール類その他の関連費用が必要となる場合は、作業または手配を行う前に、必ず購入店または弊社へご連絡ください。必要な対応および費用の取り扱いを個別にご案内いたします。
原則として、製品をご購入いただいた販売店または取付店を通じて対応いたします。ただし、本件は安全に関わる重要なご案内であるため、以下の場合は弊社まで直接ご連絡ください。

SPOON has identified a safety-related defect affecting certain L.S.D. KIT 41000-FL5-000 units for the Honda Civic Type R FL5 and FK8 that were shipped by SPOON between May 2025 and July 2026.
After receiving a report that the left driveshaft had disengaged from this product, we conducted an investigation and confirmed that the dimensions of the side gear inside the LSD are outside the specified tolerance in certain units. As a result, the left driveshaft may not be securely retained and could disengage while the vehicle is being driven. This may result in a loss of drive and transmission fluid leakage.
Customer safety is our highest priority. We are therefore conducting a voluntary product recall and will replace all affected products with corrected units free of charge.
If your vehicle is fitted with an affected or potentially affected product, do not drive the vehicle until its status has been confirmed and the necessary corrective action has been completed. If the product has not yet been installed, do not install it. Do not inspect, disassemble or remove the product yourself. Please contact the dealer or workshop from which you purchased the product before taking any further action. Do not drive the vehicle to the dealer or workshop. If the vehicle must be moved, contact the selling dealer, installing workshop or SPOON first and arrange appropriate transport, such as a flatbed vehicle transporter.
We are contacting all domestic and overseas recipients that can be identified from our shipment records.
However, we have found that some vehicles fitted with the affected product may already have been resold as used vehicles, while some products may have been distributed through exporters, overseas dealers or other sales channels. As a result, notices from the original selling dealers may not reach the current vehicle or product owners.
We are therefore publishing this notice to ensure that this important safety information reaches all potentially affected customers.

The dimensions of the side gear inside the LSD are outside the specified tolerance in certain units. As a result, the left driveshaft, also referred to as the left front axle shaft, may not be securely retained and could disengage while the vehicle is being driven. This may result in a loss of drive and transmission fluid leakage.
As of [Month Day], 2026, SPOON has not received any reports of traffic accidents or personal injuries caused by this issue. We are continuing to confirm the installation status and condition of the affected products through the relevant dealers and distributors.
All affected products will be replaced with corrected units free of charge. The corrected units are currently being manufactured and are scheduled to arrive at SPOON on the middle of September, 2026. We will begin arranging replacement shipments through the relevant dealers as soon as the corrected units become available. For products confirmed as affected, SPOON will cover the following:
Do not drive a vehicle fitted with an affected product until the corrected product has been installed. If the vehicle must be returned to service before the corrected product becomes available, please consult the selling dealer, installing workshop or SPOON regarding temporary restoration to the original Honda differential or another configuration confirmed to be safe.
If temporary restoration, vehicle transportation, transmission fluid, seals or other related work may be required, please contact the selling dealer or SPOON before authorizing any work or arranging transportation. We will provide instructions regarding the required action and the handling of related costs.
As a general rule, replacement support will be coordinated through the dealer or exporter from which the product was purchased. However, because this notice concerns an important safety issue, please contact SPOON directly if:
