このフィルターは純正交換式の高効率フィルターです。
ターボ車は剝き出し型のエアクリーナーが一般的ですが、私たちは純正エアクリーナーボックスの持つ、高い充填効率や優れた遮熱性によるパワーグラフに現れない最良のドライバビリティを得るため、純正交換タイプにこだわり開発を進めてきました。

先に発売したCIVIC FK7、S660用と同様に、フィルター素材はポリエステルファイバーを採用する事で、従来のコットンフィルターでは実現できなかった吸入量の確保とダストの確実な除去を高次元で両立させています。

弊社デモカーでのフィルター単体のみ交換のダイノ比較テスト（上グラフ）では、特に中～高速域で確実にトルク、パワーの向上を実現しております。またSPOONエアクリーナーを装着した状態でのECU現車セッティングにおいてはエアフロー値に大幅な向上が見られ、全域で確実なトルク・パワーとピックアップの向上が実証されました。

メンテナンスはフィルターオイルの塗布やクリーニング剤での洗浄は不要、エアガンでダストを飛ばすだけです。
※特に汚れが酷い場合は中性洗剤を使い水洗いし、自然乾燥させて再装着してください。

Presenting new AIR CLEANER for CIVIC TYPE R FK8.

Made to increase efficiency.
Turbo vehicles would typically have POD type air cleaners, however here at SPOON we decided to develop the cleaner with the genuine airbox. Designed to enhance drivability with its high filling efficiency.

Same with earlier released ones for CIVIC FK7 and S660, this filter is also made with polyester fiber. Unlike cotton, this material provides better dust removal and secures the high-level intake.

The graph above demonstrates how just changing the filter helped improving the torque and power specifically in the medium to high-speed range.
Having just installed the air cleaner with the current ECU settings resulted in significantly better air flow and overall improvement of torque, power and pick up.
The filter is easy clean and does not require the filter oil or detergent. Just simply blow the dust off with an air gun.
※Use mild detergent with water and air dry, if dust cannot be removed with air.
